Izzy's dress is completely hand stitched, decorated with chain stitch and french knot embroidery, ric rac at the neck, and recycled lace to finish her skirt. I followed Runos instructions for making up the dress.

Et voila, one dress completed!
Of course, every girl needs a bag and shoes ...... something for another day ..... I'll have to get onto that!
But for now, I'm off to read some lovely blogs over at Amy's Love Made My Home and Crazy Mom Quilts, I hope you will pop over to see what is going on too!
Have a super weekend!
See you soon.

I never dreamed that Izzy was that small!! She's adorable - and even more impressive knowing that all those details are in miniature.
What a great doll and such intricate detail on something so small is amazing.
She fabulous, and sporting such beautiful clothes too.
Izzy is lovely, especially in her new dress. Like Magpie's Mumblings I didn't realise she was so small - how about a photo of her on your bag?
She is adorable, nice, nice work.
What a beautiful little doll Barbara and I love the detail you have stitched onto her dress! Have a lovely week! Christine x

Oh my, Barbara, what a sweetie she is. And she has such beautiful clothes, the little Miss.I'm looking forward to seeing her with new shoes and a fancy bag :)
Izzy has lovely brown hair and very intelligent eyes. When I grow up, I want to be an Izzy. And she looks lovely in green :-)
I also wanted to thank you for your darling comment on my blog.

I also didn't realise that she is a handbag charm. I can't believe how perfectly you have stitched such a tiny creation - She is absolutely gorgeous xx
Izzy is going to look very sweet dangling from your handbag - exquisite stitching on her dress - just lovely.
Izzy looks great in her new dress!

What a sweet doll Barbara! I love all the special details, like her curly bangs and the embroidery on her dress!
such a cute wee dress you made for Lzzy, it reminds me of the wee dresses worn by the young German and Switze girls. I have a lovely outfit that my hubby brought back from Bravia about 40 years ago for me, all though it does not fit me now I love it so much I can never bring my self to pass it on LOL Cheers Glenda
